PSHE
The Akiva PSHE curriculum is authentic and challenging, it provides memorable opportunities for our pupils.
At Akiva School we see Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) as being at the centre of all we do. Through our curriculum, our school environment and our school ethos, we promote pupil self-esteem and emotional well-being. We work hard to ensure that we teach our children respect, kindness, resilience and integrity which are the core values of the school. We help children to form worthwhile and satisfying relationships based on respect for themselves and others. We endeavour to develop happy, confident and knowledgeable British citizens with a love of Israel and Judaism. As Progressive Jews we ensure that children are tolerant and understanding of the diverse world we live in to celebrate differences. We also aim to give children the tools to live a physically and emotionally healthy life.
